Just thougth I would pass along that Othello's is now back open. The family that has been running the Edmond location for 12 years has taken it over. They have gone back to all the original recipes to make sure the food is a hilight again. Live music thurs-sun. Come out and support this Norman landmark.

Appreciate the head's up. If it's headed back to how it was when patsy had it, then it's time to give it another chance. I hope it lives up to its past glory. I am kind of looking forward to getting reacquainted with the CC area haunts.

Finally tried O'Connell's at CC yesterday. I found I liked it more than I expected I would. Solid service, great food, and the interior has enough of the same charm that kept me going back to its departed older sib. Guess I may owe Jeff an apology for the money I haven't spent with him for a while. Then again, I've saved him buckets upon buckets of soda refills, so maybe we're close enough to even to not worry on it too much.
