Anyone know what's going on in Bricktown right about now? Oklahoma Avenue is blocked off, there are at least 10 police cars, 2 fire trucks (idling on Reno), and an ambulance hanging around. When I drove by cops were standing on the corners, but didn't seem too concerned. Nothing on NewsOk.

KOCO website says a suspicious device was found on Flaming Lips Alley.

Never rely on NewsOK and KWTV. Its time to make that change to KOCO.

Ryan Welton has been lovely to get info out to us faster than the speed of light. :-)

Haha! I was going to say something similar but thought I'd check the postings, first, to see if someone had beat me to it.

Reminds me of a suspicious device found I think in Chicago, to be safe they blew it up. Turned out to be a traffic counter, for the next couple weeks people stuck 'Not a Bomb' on practicably everything on the street. I loved the comment on one photo to demonstrate one on a traffic cone, 'That cone may not be a bomb, but that thing (trash can) beside it looks suspicious'

google could not find a photo of the cone quick but did find at least one of the stickers

That's freakin' hilarious! Not to condone the defacing of public property with the stickers or anything, but funny is funny...
