This should be an interesting story/movie. It would be wise to pour in support from all different places and individuals, because this film is about to make history once and for all.

What I don't like is this quote...

The filmmaker says he will not be recreating the actual murders in the film out of respect for the families.

A movie like this should stay true as much as possible. Use different names, that is fine, but don't change the events and how the murders happened. Keep it real.

This sounds to me more like someone trying to make a buck off a notorious story rather than someone who is trying to provide some insight into what happened. As for not showing the murders, I think that's wise. What would be the purpose other than sensationalism? You can get across the horrific details about what happened without showing the graphic murders.

I remember this case pretty clearly but read through this site http://girlscoutmurders.com/ this morning and found it quite interesting.

Incorrect!!! Incorrect!!!

If he was trying to hit jackpot, he would have just gone straight to "sensationalism" and dramatize the murder events, etc. He does not plan to do so. What does that say? He has the inside knowledge and want the truth to be known.

Exactly. "In Cold Blood" is a good example.
