I figured I would put these in Urban Core and let Pete decide where to put them. I want to video RetroMetroOKC (http://www.retrometrookc.org/)'s meetings each month and share them for those who could not make it to one.

The whole meeting was a little over one hour, so I split it into three parts. Part three features RetroMetroOKC (http://www.retrometrookc.org/)'s Bricktown and railway exhibit. This meeting was held in the Miller-Jackson building on Mickey Mantle Dr and California on the canal lower level.

Oh... and features OKCTalk favorites Steve Lackmeyer and Doug Loudenback!

(the audio was pretty bad so I had to turn it up. It can be hard to understand at times with all the walking around and outside noises)

Bump. Because I'm selfish.

I would, most likely, enjoy these meetings.

Well, the time would go would be now, since it's unlikely that I will have another speaking role anytime soon.

Retro Metro OKC has a speaker Monday night, 6:30 p.m. at Kyle's 1025, NW 70 and Western. Retro Metro OKC has done a collaborative exhibit on the history of city restaurants, and our speaker will be chef John Bennett. Del Camino, you and others on this site are more than welcome to join us!

If I continue doing the monthly meetings regularly, would Pete want to change the title of the thread to just RetroMetroOKC Monthly Meetings?

I got an error uploading part 2 of Monday's meeting, or otherwise I would post both. Should be done shortly.

i can rename this thread if you want... however, my suggestion is that you do one thread/meeting. that way the discussion stays around the topic of each meeting. also, if the focus is on history, i think this would fit better under 'nostalgia/memories' rather than 'civic issues.' -M
