Got this email from this travel deals website and I am shocked how cheap a round trip plane ticket costs. How is Hawaii during the Fall? Just have to see how expensive hotels are.

Hawaii is fine during the fall. The weather is very consistant year round. Hotels in Hawaii are never cheap, however.

The price you're seeing is a sale fare that started on May 24th and could be changed at any time. Travel must be between 9-11-11 to 11-18-11, 12-1-11 to 12-14-11, 1-1-12 to 3-8-12, or 4-15-12 to 4-30-12. Lowest fares are also for Monday through Thursday travel. Keep in mind that each flight has a limited number of seats at the lowest price and as the flights fill up the price can go higher.

If you want to go cheap and since you aren't (or shouldn't be, lol) in your room all the time, you might check out this place: http://royalgrovehotel.com/
My brother and I stayed there when we went back to see how things changed since we lived there during 79-81 and it was very hospitable and nice.

Of course, as in any location, there are budget accomodations. As long as people understand what they're getting that's not a problem. For most people in Oklahoma going to Hawaii is a special occasion unlike say California residents. They usually expect something a little nicer.
