What a game. Caught a break with the tip in near the end but we will gladly take it.

Gonna be a few thousand tired workers showing up at work today with the late finish

Stupid question, is this Round One of the playoffs like it was against the Lakers?

I saw the newspaper yesterday and I may have misunderstood it... Did they win Round 1 (majority games against Nuggets) and advances to Round 2 or was it only the first game of Round 1?

Sorry, I just don't watch basketball and don't keep track of the sport. It looks like we will win the championship.

That was the first game of potentially seven in the first round. The first team to win four advances to the second round where they meet the winner of the 1st seed-8th seed round. We'll have to play a lot better than Sunday night's game to win a championship.

We need Harden to score more than 5 to go deep in the playoffs...Can't have a two man show against the big boys

This game reminded me of nearly every game against the Laker last year. We would spot them a large lead then have to fight our way back. Atleast this time we were able to win with just two players. Last year we would have lost this game by 15.

At least some of the shots of downtown this time were current. Mostly they have been playing a tape from last year.

I taped the TNT broadcast but watched FoxSports live and it was a slick and very fun production. When our boyz are "on", there's nothing Denver can do to stop 'em.

I am stoked. I just hope we can do well on the road. I heard Dean Blevins saying
94% of the teams that win the first two games at home advance to the 2nd
round. I hope that is the case!

It's gotta mess with the Nuggets players heads that they've lost 4 in a row to the Thunder in like the last month. I'd be all ROTFLMAO at a sweep.

That would be fun. I don't expect it though and it might be more fun to clinch the first round at home.

I notice watching the game tonight, that there is some Seattle Supersonic fans there, and I ask myself, are you kidding me, when will the Sonic fans grow up and move on.

LOL, don't forget there are still some Brooklyn Dodger fans around. Don't expect it to happen anytime soon.

Great defense by the Thunder, and Harden specifically, on the last play of the game! Finish the series in game 4!

3 - 0 and 5 - 0 in the last five against the Nuggets. That's not easy against any team in the NBA.

That one guy should start the next game with some sort of foul, the way he was yelling at the ref at the end. Much worse then anything Durant and Westbrook did during the game.

That's just a little frustration showing while knowing that they are toast now.

I thought they were going to lose at the end. With 40 seconds to go and a 10 point lead you have to envision in your mind what has to transpire for Denver to win - and then not do those things.

I certainly understand that, Kerry. But it's still a thrill for the home fans to see a series being clinched at home. I'm sure you remember how the fans reacted last year when we lost the 4th game to LA at home. Can you imagine how it would have been if that had been a 4th victory at home? As I said, we'll take every win we can get though.

Was yesterday the 3rd or 4th win? I counted 3 games.

Then a poster saying 3-0 and 5-0. Which is it?

The team is 3-0 in this particular playoff series with Denver. It is a best of 7 series, meaning one more win for the Thunder and this round is over. As tough a win as this one seemed to be, I hope they win the next one and don't need any additional meetings in this series.

The team also beat Denver the last two times they faced off in regular season play, hence 5-0 for the Thunder in their last five times to play Denver.

I would wanna play The Grizz as well because OKC would have Home court advantage and Memphis has not seen OKC since The trade either!

Season record against the Grizzlies: 1-3

Jan. 4: OKC 105, MEM 110
Jan. 8: MEM 100, OKC 109
Feb. 8: MEM 105, OKC 101
Mar. 7: OKC 101, MEM 107

Season record against the Spurs: 0-3

Nov. 14: SAS 117, OKC 104
Jan. 1: OKC 74, SAS 101
Feb. 23: OKC 105, SAS 109

All of the Grizzlies games were close, decided by nine points or less, and we won one, whereas the Spurs blew us out twice. I think I'd rather play the Grizzlies. Rooting for the Spurs to take it to seven, though. Actually if it does go seven I'd almost rather play the Spurs, as old as they are.

And anyone who "kinda hopes" we lose Game 4 so we can win the series in OKC is an idiot. The more road playoff wins we can get under our belt, the better. Let's wrap this sh.t up Monday night so we can rest and start preparing for MEM/SAS.

OKC is a totally different team since aquiring Nazr and Perk, infact I think OKC has only lost 4 games since The trade!Infact OKC has not played SAS or MEM since The trade!Tough to say but I'd still like The Home court adv. series with MEM!

Words can't express how much fun I'm having rooting for the Thunder here in Denver! The only thing that would have made it ideal would have been a sweep but Monday's loss just means the 4th win comes in OKC in front of the home crowd. Its been great. Could anyone have even begun to imagine we'd be here rooting for the OKC NBA team in the playoffs even 10 years ago?

Even after the first few months of play with the thunder (4 wins - 29 losses Oct through Dec), I though I was being optimistic that they could get the team to at least competitive in the regular season after five years. The improvement the second half of the season, the next years play and looking like the most competitive team verses the Lakers in the playoffs was surreal.

Have we even won a game against Memphis this year? I don't think we have. Could be wrong.

Edit: We have won 1 and lost 3 in the regular against the Grizzlies and we haven't won any against the Spurs. Either way it doesnt look good.

AHHH....that was before the trade!Getting Nazr and Perk made OKC BIG,and add in Collison And Ibaka that makes OKC as good as ANYONE!I think since the trade OKC has only lost 5 games! It will be a diferent game when we face SAS or MEM!

Yep, I-blockya kept us in the game, then the Durantula got into a zone to nail the coffin shut! KD's play those last 4 minutes gave me chills.

"Our crowd really wanted the game for us," Durant said. "Down (nine) three minutes to go. They pulled us through, man. Showed us how much we are blessed to be a part of this great city. They won the series for us. But this is only the first step. We must keep moving forward, working hard and go from there."

Now the boyz get to rest up which is a big advantage going into round 2.

That's controlled by the NBA and television. They aren't concerned about a marathon. It's about ratings and money.

I don't think that's a problem. The game will last about 2 1/2 hours and the Arts Festival is all day. The game won't impact attendance at the festival in the least. There has also been a viewing screen outside of the arena and I assume that will still be there.
