The Sheriff Department of Oklahoma County is using your Tax Dollars in search of a wanted fugitive. Search teams have been out in full force combing the areas along with choppers with enhanced camera views in search for this wanted furry suspect. If you spot the Scofflaw Squirrel, please do not attempt to capture. Follow him from a safe distance and call the Sheriff Department immediately at 405-869-2501.

No comment? This is our tax dollars! What is everyone's opinion on this?

This is no joke. This is the real deal! The squirrel is a wanted fugitive!

I'm hoping your comments are meant as a joke. Although it is a funny story there was serious damage being done which our tax dollars are having to pay for and has to be stopped.

We had a crazy squirrel at our house that ate the wiring on my wife's car. It cost several hundred dollars to have it repaired. About the same time one caught a ride to work with me under the hood. I spotted it poking it's head out of the grill after I arrived. I think it might have been the same one since we didn't have any more problems after that.

My cat would surely love to pounce on that squirrel. Before I adopted him, it was said that while he was homeless in the Asian District east off Classen he caught a squirrel and ate it. Lately, for me he has killed a couple of baby snakes that somehow wondered into my house.

That's no house cat, that is a Black Panther.

I happened to catch this story on the news couple of weeks ago. What struck me wasnt so much the wasted tax dollars looking for the squirrel, but rather that someone said, "hey we need to call the news stations out here..."

Bunty shared the story about this adorable black cat a couple months ago. It's a baby Panther, so you are correct. :-)

Yes, its a very resourceful tool to reach the mass public to assist with squirrel-hunting. Thousands turned up to the areas and combed through inch by inch. To this day, the squirrel have not been caught. There was several sightings reported and the detectives are still following up on leads. We are still paying for this with our tax dollars daily until the wanted squirrel is caught. One person was charged after attempting to bring in a lookalike squirrel and is currently in the county jail unable to post bail.

One thing you'll never hear about is a stray dog problem in the Asian District.

I posted a joke. I'm surprised the DA didn't set out to ruin the squirrel's life like he did to that pharmacy guy. :-O
