Smell of smoke plus a thin, but noticeable haze on the south side (I'm south of 240). Anyone else notice or know what is up?

That's what I'm trying to find out, must be a huge fire. Because its hazy all over the southside. Or atleast the couple miles I just drove.

I live here in south Norman and we have the same thing. Wish we could figure out where it was coming from.

I was outside about 15 minutes ago (Del City) and a truck drove by and I could see the haze with his headlights.

Just checked on KOCO.com and I only see red banner about additional arrests of a recently slaying in MWC.

Could it be just fog?

It's not fog. It's a smoke haze. Fog is basically precipitation suspended in air, like a cloud, but on the surface. Haze is thinner and has to do with other airborne particles in the air other than precipitation, suspended on or above the surface.

It can't be from any past fires.... I wonder if the nuclear plant in Texas is okay.

Really Thunder? You know there's one in Arkansas too. Guess what, we tried to build them in OK as well. They're safe. All of France is powered by them too. Don't buy into the hysteria, educate yourself on the process.....oh wait, i forgot who i was talking to.
