I live at Council and 122nd - everything became really bright and VERY green looking. Then I see what appears to be a green roman candle streaking through the sky.

I thought someone was on my roof looking down on me with a green flashlight or something.

Anyways, first time posting here (lurker for a while) and thought I might see if anyone else saw that. Certainly not your normal shooting star - this was serious business!

My wife and I might have seen it. We were coming home from dinner, heading west on 178th, and around Penn she said "look at that!" and I looked up to see a very bright light going roughly east-to-west. It almost looked like it was floating downward and then it disappeared. I literally only saw it for about 1 second.

I'm not sure if it was on the 23rd but it was sometime last week and pretty late in the evening.

If it burned green it was probably more metallic than the average meteoroid. Dig the name, actual.
