Big grass fire near SW 44th and Council. Those fires are getting so close to the big houses. Awesome LIVE video on KOCO.com right now showing the firemen battling the flames and soaking the surrounding areas with water near the houses.

Don't you get the feeling we're in for a long, hot, dry spring and summer? Extreme weather seems to be everywhere - why not here? Thanks for the link.

About two weeks ago, Damon answered a question to water our lawns or not. He said to wait as it was too early. I disagreed with him. It is never to early. Everyone should be watering, especially those living near large areas of grass and trees. The fires came dangerously close to many houses.

It seems that Sky5 have a small gas tank. They left the fires to refuel.

Several wild fires around the state right now. Very low humidity, but winds aren't too out of control today.
