Ive been keeping up with this odd case for a while and just wanted to know everyones theorys/thoughts on the case or maybe any updates since i have not heard anything lately.
I find it odd that the truck was found locked with all possesions inside{including 32,000}in cash and the family pet.
Ive tried to think of every logical outcome but the only thing that i can fathom is that someone didnt want them in that area or they happened upon something they shouldnt have and perhaps they will never be found.

Two recent articles, though both are from last fall (around the 1 year mark from when the family went missing)

No theories to offer on my part.

Considering the part of the state where they disappeared I am not the least bit surprised.

Unfortunately, this is probably true.

Any number of things could have happened to them. Attack from a bear, exposure, fall into a canyon or creek. Most likely IMO, they had a bad run in with some crazy methhead or pot growers that live on those mountaintops.

Southeast Oklahoma, as beautiful as it is, is just not a place I would go and trot around unless I was with someone who was very familair with the area.

Unless you were born and raised in the Jack Forks it is suicidal to be in the area. Even being with a native son/daughter is no guarantee of safety. I used to hunt on Weyerhauser land when they were active in the area. It was scary back then. Deliverance is not just a movie to some folks.

The family was featured on the show Disappeared. It seems the wife had an issue with a white supremacist who rented a room from them just before they vanished. He assaulted her and she forced him out of the house at gun point. Security cameras installed at the house caught a portion of the altercation. Of course, red flags go off when I hear people say they want to move to make a fresh start. To me it means there is something they need a fresh start from, and that usually isn't good. Pictures taken of the little girl on one of the cell phones during the abduction show her to to be crying and visibly shaken.

Creepy. Maybe they were taken to the Purple Church.

Who runs off to start a new life, successfully, leaving $32,000 and the family dog in a car?
