I think thats projected growth and also primary trade corridors and traffic patterns!

In 2013, the newly elected Tea Party members on the City Council deep sixed MAPS III. It was all downhill after that.

Oddly enough, I find more that concerns me in this post than I do in all the 2012 - Ballgame Over, Mayans Win or 2020 - It Was Fun While It Lasted type posts I see from time to time.

The Trans-American Passenger Network is similar to the early days of Amtrak, sans the Pennsy run from St Louis thru Indy and Columbus to Pittsburgh. The OKC (Union Station) to St Louis line harkens back to the Frisco run that was discontinued about 1963. Beautiful scenery.

Even if public transit doesn't get deep-six'd, this 2050 website is basically saying that OKC isn't getting linked up to anything until the final phase of development, so right around the year 2050. I find that extremely sad.
