Going to be turned into a mixed use development...residential, retail, and I think a hotel site on it somewhere too if I'm not mistaken.

sweet. hopefully more info will come out soon. either way im glad it is changing. We all knew that land could be used for something more than a freaking car lot.

If Fred Hall says he is going to live in it, it is probably going to be pretty nice. I just hope they keep it reasonable.

The location would be ideal for high rise condos. What Devon exec wouldn't want their commute to work to be a stroll across the park?

I just hope that park isn't the Discovery Green in Houston. ^

As for this project, expect thousands of residential units when finished. It will really be something.

Do you think it will be a high-rise, Spartan? Or multiple high-rises?

I doubt high-rise, but it will be a very dense project, if they get it off.
