Liebmann Ice Company.
Guy Liebmann is now a state rep for District 82 (http://www.okhouse.gov/District82), I went to high school with one of his daughters.

That's it! I didn't know it was connected to the same family as the former councilman. Thanks!

It was a family business started in Oklahoma's "progressive" days and the subject of a lawsuit between the New State Ice Co and Leibmann Ice Co over the restrictive nature of the Oklahoma government at the time and eventually ended up in the Supreme Court in 1932.

Was that an ice plant or cold storage lockers? Was it owned by Glenn's Hickory Inn? I remember something like that where the 7-11 is now but do not remember if it was an ice plant or not.

As I recall it was both and I am pretty sure you are also correct in that Glenns owned the hole shebang.

I just can't remember the name and it's driving me nuts. The one at NW 10 and May was another Liebmann plant. It also had cold storage lockers. Glenn's may have owned the land, however.
