Wasn't there a game room type place on 39th next to a lumberyard (Big L?) named Kirbyo's or something like that. I went there a few times in the early 80s. Also used to hang out at a miniature golf/gameroom just east of there. No idea what it was called. Both were on the south side of the street. Anyone remember these?

Putt-Putt was the miniature golf course in between what used to be Long John Silver's and the AMC/Jeep dealership next to Big L. The parking lot was behind LJS off Barr Ave. Cable VW has both the Putt-Putt and AMC dealer site. AutoMax has the old Big L site, can't remember what is or was in between them but I don't remember a gameroom except at Putt-Putt.

It seems like it was at the east edge of the lumberyard. It was kinda a run down place if I remember correctly.

I remember going there, but don't recall the exact name. Kirby's or Kirby-o's sounds close though. I remember at lunch many of us would walk from Central Jr. High across 39th to get there.
