Don't know if this has been posted before, but nonetheless, very interesting:

I've seen plans for the "30,000-SQUARE-FOOT RETAIL CENTER ON THIS TRIANGULAR PLOT" that is pictured. It's an impressive structure, and would bring some much need retail downtown, but I would be surprised if it got done. The price tag was astounding.

Where are the plans at?

These are not all done deals.

The apartments are a done deal, though, right?

Is Wade Scaramucci Avis' son? That is cool that he has persuaded his London firm to look at projects in OKC.

I wonder if the bindery project is... there is definitely something happening over there.

They weren't for public consumption.

“This is about taking some of the experiences we gained doing the London 2012 Olympics masterplan, by doing housing that is very dense,” said Scaramucci. A robust natural gas economy has carried the city relatively unscathed through the recent recession and now, thanks in part to underdevelopment that has plagued the city since the mid-80s oil crash, it is posed to become a model of European-style urban planning in the U.S

Awesome - it is about dang time someone gets it.

Even though these developments are small, small development eventually transitions to bigger projects. Good looking out AHMM!

I don't think he's her son but he is part of the family, I could be wrong on that though. It's a big family that does a lot of great things for OKC. I adore all of Scaramuccis I've met through growing up on the southside.

Two of these projects are not small. One is a 30,000 sq ft retail center with roof top parking and another is 228 unit apartment building. Some of the other projects identified on their map but not in the text are in very interesting places (like the corner of Oklahoma and Reno).

BTW - can you guy layoff all the Thunder comments. Everybody is already thinking the same thing. He craves attention and when you give it to him for 'bad' behavior it rewards the bad behavior. Make him earn your attention with 'good' behavior. Try positive reinforcement when he writes something logical and coherent and polite correction when he says something crazy (I know, I know - I could use that advice myself).

I deleted a whole bunch of posts due to 1) trolling 2) personal attacks and 3) profanity.

Back to topic, please.

Great news! Some of this information is old, but most of it new. We already knew about the Deep Deuce apartments development. Surprised to see Grant Humphreys is going with him to redo the Triangle Flatiron location.

Spartan, someone clarified in an older post, but I believe Wade IS Phil and Avis' son.

If you look at the map it's actually a different flatiron shaped block. Along 4th instead of 5th.

Thanks for clarifying. Will be cool if this one AND Humphrey's Flatiron comes to fruition.

you mean 'comes to flatition'. I just made a new word. The definition is: something in the Flatiron District that actually gets built.

Wade is Avis's son. He graduated from Westmoore in about '90.

Wade is absolutely Scaramucci's son and he was involved in designing Nonna's. A lot of these projects are NOT DONE DEALS. I'll handicap it on my blog later today.
