I just drove by there and they are building something. I guess it is part of the school. I am not sure. Anybody have any details?

Linwood Elementary School, I believe part of the MAPS for Kids projects. That is another excellent Okc public school that I would put up against any suburb school any day, and that is before the MAPS money arrived.

Linwood is an excellent inner-city neighborhood that many people overlook.

Its my old grade school. My understanding is it is a new gym and classrooms. For whatever reasons, Linwood has recently won national awards of excellence - great thing for a diverse, inner city school. Go Lions!

I've been wondering the same, glad to know what it is and yes Linwood is a great overlooked area.
