Just bought a house in Edgemere Park this was week and move in in December.

I know of all the big time places in the area but was wondering if anyone could tell me about some hole in the wall bars and restaurants in the area that the main population wouldn't know about.

Glad to hear. I'm looking in Jefferson, Edgemere and the like as well. I'm not the bar type, but I know the Blue Note is close by and now managed by the popular Deep Fork Group so that may be more what you're looking for as well as Cock O The Walk, Guestroom Records, Iron Starr, etc.

i was driving around today after the inspection and saw that Cheevers on 23rd has a take out food market so I am def going to check that out

Yeah Market C has been there for a year or two now and highly recommend it!! It's not just take out for them, but all their restaurants (Red Prime, Iron Starr, POPS as well) plus other gourmet items.

Iron Starr is one of my favorite places to eat.

Also quite a bit of resturants down on Western between 36th & 50th you might like.

I've been in the new place 3 nights and I've already had some cheevers, iron starr, and my forever favorite Neko. Gonna have to get the running shoes on
