Yes, this is a love letter to Kyle's 1025.
I've eaten here three times and I'm loving it more each time.
First, the food. It's great. The fried chicken is, in my opinion, the best in the city. Everything down to the rolls is amazing. The Greek Spaghetti is unlike anything I've ever eaten, and the restaurant's partnership with Retro Metro OKC includes the re-creation of some our favorite childhood memories. For me, this meant a chance to enjoy genuine Howard Johnson's clam strips. The caesar salad is a must. The baked potato is baked with seasoning that's to die for. They've got
My wife and I visited tonight and the only surprise is that it's not busier (about half full). While another commenter on this site said there was no background music, there was some very nice music playing tonight. The service was great and the place, while definitely the place to enjoy a nice evening (another commenter pointed out it feels like you're being treated like royalty), is not pretentious or stuffy - it's comfortable, it's fun. And word needs to get out - this is what good local dining used to be all about.
Best items on the menu (based on my visits and reviews by friends and family): fried chicken, steak, kyle's meatloaf, Greek spaghetti. Side items - incredible rolls and muffins, baked potato, clam strips. The deserts are all top notch. And I know several of you might rush over there just for the Anna Maude Lemon Chess Pie.

Fun history: The building itself has a colorful history you can learn more about from the menu. Historic items include a table top juke box and other items from the old downtown Beverly's restaurant, extensive memorabilia from Beverly's, Dolores (Kyle's has the Dolores Suzy-Q fries and a recreation of the comeback sauce), a fun and extensive collection of Howard Johnson's collectibles, and menus and photos representing dozens of OKC's greatest restaurants that are no longer with us.

Have no idea where this place is located. KYLE 1025 sounds more like a radio station!

Was not aware of this place but it sounds like it needs to go into the rotation.
Is there a menu online anywhere?

Thanks Steve. My bad eyes couldn't read the menu image. I may be on that end of town toward the end of the week so no biggie.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Oklahoma City. Great food, great service and I love the history it holds. If anyone hasn't tried it, you must go!

They have the most amazing chicken livers - I'm really going to miss them. My birthday club eats there a lot and I must say I will miss it.
