Patrick, mranderson, downtownguy,

You guys may be interested in this. If you don't already know, I'm running for Bethany City Council Ward 2 in a 3 way race. Fox News 25 did an interview about my campaign because of my young age and young people in politics. I'm not trying to boast but thought you and others may be interested in watching.

Well how about that? I think more of our members should run for some minor office. They have most of my support, and I'm surethe unanimous support of the other active posters here.

Hey metro. I saw the report.

You were very good on camera, despite the permanant yamika in the shoulder shot. (lol)

If I lived in your ward, you would have my vote even if I did not know you from here. Best of luck.

Best of luck in your race. I know from your postings here that you'd make an excellent leader for Bethany.

Darn, I missed it. Oh well. metro, best of luck in the council race. We need more young blood like yourself in leadership positions. The Bethany city council can surely use your leadership, knowing what's happened in recent years. Just from what I've learned from you here, I know you'd serve Bethany well.

Keep us up to date.

Congrats, metro! That's two OKCTalk forum members that have made appearances on the local news for efforts to make Oklahoma a better place to live. Who's next?
