I read in the Tulsa World that the city of Tulsa underwent an independent efficiency review.

The review found 1100 recommendations for change to possibly make Tulsa run more efficient and to better utilize tax payers money.

Does anyone know if Okc has ever had a similar review?

I believe it has, but it was back in the eighties.

Over 20 years ago? If that is true, and I can't find anything using internet search of an Okc review, then Okc is long overdue for it's own independent efficiency review. I am sure Okc, just as all of us, could operate in a more efficient way.

Here's another article, I can't post it all because of it being in the JR but just the opening paragraph states that......
The report from KPMG LLC, a firm of efficiency experts, said 61 percent of city services are not mandated.
