I was on my way to work this morning at around 4AM heading West on I-40 and before I exited onto Rockwell I saw News vans and a bunch of police just North of The landfill next to The Sands and some news vans before that too! anyone know what happened or why they were there?

My guess a homeless man jumped to death from a bridge onto an oncoming semi truck.

You're welcome. When I was seeking out the story, given the Sands is in that vicinity, I wasn't sure what I might find was the reason. Traffic stop houdini's weren't my first thought.
