Kind of a weird thing to be proud of.

Holding a pride day doesn't seem at all weird to me.
I concede I am a bit confuzzled to see it is to be situated at the relatively small (my opinion) physical space available at the UU facility in Norman.
The video on the pride day site shows a prior event at Andrews Park. Perhaps the park was already booked, or perhaps a smaller turnout is anticipated.

Of course, it's also possible the UU space is more expansive than I ever realized.

If the gay folks can march, so can the pagans!!

There may even be some overlap.

It's weird to be proud of your religious beliefs?

Isn't Oklahoma part of the US?

They need to come up with an "Average Guy" pride day. I could be the master of ceremonies, or at the very least parade marshal. :kicking:
I'm just an ordinary average guy
My friends are all boring
And so am I
We're just ordinary average guys

I'm not a pagan but I think it sounds cool and would like to go. I'm nearly always in favor of diversity and equal rights for all (except maybe mosquitoes...even the vegan in me hates them).

They have a few of these around the state in CO. I've seen a couple and they are a total hoot because these folks really believe that stuff.

It would be cool, except the "Pagan Pride Day" festival seems to just be an excuse for these people to hawk their weird wares, and there's nothing wrong with that. So it's cool if you wanna buy some voodoo dolls from some bearded lady in a tent, but if you're looking for culture, events, or diversity..I don't see where this festival will have any of that.

I guess I'm just suggesting that it doesn't appear to be designed to be very "outsider friendly."
