I live in Edmond atm, but I'm looking for a house or townhome, rent or buy.
I've tried EVERY possible way to find something so if anybody has any suggestions or knows of anything available I would greatly appreciate it. :)

How do you get all your stuff in an ATM? There are houses and townhouses all over the place. There are tens of thousands of them.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I have a huge ATM.
It's pretty roomy actually.

I know they are out there.
Finding them is what's difficult.
I've literally drove ALL over the Edmond are.
It's difficult.

Newspaper? Craigslist? Realtor? Seriously, you could throw a rock and hit home to buy or rent.

About a month ago I was looking for a house and/or townhouse in Edmond to rent.

In four days I looked at over 40 places.

rentals.com, okchomesellers.com, etc.

There are tons of places.

I've done newspaper.
I've done Craiglist, not anything worth anything in Edmond.
I've done a realtor, a crappy one at that.
I've always took the first or few houses that looked attractive & worth it. Always end up in a place that falls apart after a few months like I am now.
This next move I'm going to make worth it.

I found my place on my own, just scouring the internet every day.

There were new listings every day.

Off what internet site did you finally find your home on?
I've been searching for a little over a year.
After a while you start to lose hope...

Maybe your requirements for a house/townhome is too unrealistic? I'm not sure what your price range is exactly, but I'm pretty sure patience is key to finding exactly what you want (or close to it). Also, try broadening your search area a bit more, you may stand a better chance of finding whatever it is that you seek.

Bottom line is, for a stater home, you don't need to set your sights on your dream home. Start out small or with a fixer upper (within reason of course!) and build equity so that you can get that dream place later on down the road.

Of course this all could be useless advice since I've never bought a home. Though, I have been doing a lot of research and have been trying to save up plenty of money for a down payment.

Hope the advice was somewhat useful! Good luck!

I already posted a few that I used a few posts ago. Just go into Google and type in 'rental homes Edmond' or 'homes for rent Edmond.'

I found my place in four days.
