I was trying to make that map show up in the body of the post, but i'm not clever enough to get it done! Can someone post that in the body of the post for me! or tell me how!

The point i was trying to convey is they have razed the houses in that shaded region in the last week and have a 1.2M loan recently taken out on the same property. I'm curious to know what it is they plan on doing, and if its a follow on to the 401 project, possibly a new trend. There's still some debris on the lots and I was wondering how the preservationists feel about these kind of projects.

That's a very good question. I recently spoke with a developer that owns land on campus corner and in that area and he told me he and some others were trying to get much of that area, including those really old, beat up houses on Boyd, rezoned so that the owners would sell the land and the developers could build new mixed use there.
