Would MAPS 3 and other municipal projects go hungry if the state scrapped the grocery tax? | OKG Scene.com (http://www.okgazette.com/p/12776/a/6142/Default.aspx?ReturnUrl=LwBEAGUAZgBhAHUAbAB0AC4AYQB zAHAAeAAslashAHAAPQAxADIANwAyADkA)

I would prefer the state switches to a retail sales tax across the board and eliminate the income tax. If you exempt food you will be surprised what all of a sudden becomes food and what you think is food - isn't. This is just another place for politicans to play favorites.

Kerry, what your proposing sounds very regressive and would hit the lower income population the hardest.
