Thunder are more athletic and are able to run the Lakers out of the gym. Someone on the coaching staff needs to realize this and tell the boys to press hard in the 2nd half. When the Lakers get tired, they make mistakes (missed shots and cheap fouls). This is the weakness the Thunder should exploit!

I loved how Westbrook attacked the centers and got Bynum in foul trouble in the 2nd half. I don't think anyone on the coaching staff told him to do that, he just knew to attack. With Bynum on the bench, it opened things up for him and Durant down the stretch. Thunder can put the Lakers on the ropes, gasping, and ripe for the KO. :boxing2:

That 4th quarter Durant on Kobe was beautiful. I think we'll see more of that. (understatement.) ESPN is even saying Durant on Kobe 4thQ last night is the "story of the playoffs so far."

Another ESPN story: The Chris Bosh rumors are really heating up. (http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors/_/date/20100423#15766) Word is that Bosh REALLY wants to come to OKC and play with Durant and Westbrook. He could be the missing link to a dynasty.

Had to edit to add this. I had no idea the Durant guarding Kobe was Durant's idea!
From ESPN:

But when it came down to crunch time, Bryant couldn't deliver as he did in scoring 15 fourth-quarter points to seal the Lakers' 95-92 victory in Game 2. He went 2 for 10 in the final 12 minutes, with Durant stopping between free throws at one point to motion to the bench that he wanted to guard the former MVP.

"It was a matchup that caught me by surprise," said Bryant, who's nearly half a foot shorter than Durant. "I think he did a great job."

KD - guts, heart, skill and a future multiple MVPer.

More Bosh talk on ESPN this afternoon. Playoffs are important for another reason, some of the great players that are coming up on free agency are looking to see where they fit.
