i was told that the land being cleared next to Perfect Swing is being prepped for a new Wally World. Anyone hear anything along those lines?

Does Norman need 3 Wal-Marts as bad as Stillwater needed 2 Wal-Marts? (Answer: YES) lol, Norman might as well get ahead of Stillwater again for having Wal-Marts.

Norman does not need another Wal-Mart, but a Neighborhood Market would be nice especially on that side of town.

I had heard there was going to be a Neighborhood market in that area...but that was...7-8 years ago or something crazy.

It doesn't need another Super Walmart, but a Neighborhood Market would be okay I think. It would be right down the street from my work, so that could be convenient to just run in and grab something.

The land being developed east of Perfect Swing in Norman is for a new Lowe's. This will be the 2nd Norman store and is going to be the same size and design as the Moore store. Last information I had about it was that it will be open by the end of the year. This information is from the store manager at the Norman Lowe's (he will be moving to that store along with about half of the staff).

Speaking of Walmart, has anyone been in Belle Isle lately?

I felt like my eyes were burning from the shade of blue and yellow they painted the inside of the store. Not to mention the remodel has got the store looking like a garage sell at meth addict's house.

Maybe with a new
Lowe's that will spawn new development, any other news?
