I just passed by this morning and saw the inside is torn down, any chance it will be a Hastings? I am probably dreaming though!

Several years ago I think a Hastings representative indicated Moore had too few college educated citizens for them or so I've been told.

The thought that Hastings would not move to Moore, because we supposedly have too few college educated citizens is totally idiotic. Yukon has a Hastings! You cant tell me that Yukon has much different demographics than Moore.

I was told the Hastings thing happened a long time ago as in the early 1990's.

If I recall correctly they were thinking about a store in Moore before the recession killed everything.

The only thing I've seen regarding Hastings in Moore is on 19th across from Frtitts Farm as part of the Royal Rock development. As with most retail development, it's probably either dead or on hold.
Here's a link to what I've found

GBR Properties, Inc. - 19th Street Pad Site (Pad#3) - Royal Rock Center, Retail-Pad (land), 19th Street & Telephone Rd, Moore, OK (http://www.loopnet.com/xNet/Looplink/Profile/Profile.aspx?LID=15423654&stid=gbr)
