I work at OUHSC and we felt it here. A co-workers lives in Edmond and his wife felt it there. Another co-worker said it was a 3.3??

Wish you could zoom in on their maps more - with all of these being centered together so closely - hard to differentiate.

Made our downtown building sway.

Not ours - makes you nervous though when there is a partially completed parking garage right next to you.

Interesting, i wonder if thats what I felt at my building in Tulsa. Was it around 9:30, actually I think my clock said 9:31, I just noticed an odd sensation while sitting at my desk, felt almost like a mild vibration the water in my cup moved kinda wierd, lasted about 15 seconds.

Edit: I'm not sure if thats what I felt at not...according to NWS it was at 9:18 am.

Edit: actually there were two quakes, one a 4.0 at 9:18 and another at 9:28 this morning that was a 3.8 so maybe that was what I felt...

Oh and since no one has posted it, here:

We've had a lot of stronger than normal quakes lately. Oklahoma has always had small 2.0 to 3.0 quakes but the last month I think we've had quite a few registering above a 3.0

Actually there were two. One at 9:18 and a second one about 10 minutes later. I never felt the first one but the second one definitely got my attention. Weird because the first was a 4.0 and the second was 3.8 I think.

Yeah I updated my post to reflect that, so I guess that is what I felt. Not the first time I felt an earthquake in Oklahoma, first time I was stuck in traffic and didnt' find out about it till that night.

There's a major subsurface fault that runs up toward the west central side of Creek county. I imagine it is possible the tremors ran up this and that is what you felt in Sapulpa at 9:18am.

Yeah, be sure you make this post on every Oklahoma earthquake thread...

Hahaha js! I made practically the same observation on venture's earthquake thread. Great minds think alike!

So I guess in your mind, if you think of something and post it once, its okay to go ahead and spam the heck out of every possibly related thread? I find that pretty immature.
