Does anyone use an online backup service like carbonite for your computers? I need something that will automatically backup my stuff as well as allow me to save videos for my job. I currently use an external hard drive, but I'm not real happy with it.

You might consider CoreVault in Edmond.

Idrive has worked fine for me for the last year. Online Backup - IDrive - Remote Data Backup - For Windows and Mac - IDrive Portable Hard Drive (http://www.idrive.com/)

I don't trust online backups. I have two hard drives in my computer and everything is backed up as it's written but besides that I have another program that backs up my files on an external HD on a weekly basis. (a belt and suspenders in other words)

What's the name of the program you use? Is it complicated?

Several years ago I purchased Miscosoft Live One Care. It's no longer available but the subscription I have is good for 6 more months.
However, most any name brand external hard drive will have a program with it to automatically backup your files.

I know, but I'm using one of those now and it seems to slow down and not completely back-up the material during the process. I don't know if my computer is the problem or if the hard drive is.

Then I'd suggest researching the user reviews on the many backup programs listed on Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com (http://download.cnet.com/windows/)
I won't bother to add another program when my One Care subscription runs out since this 2nd internal hard drive is taking care of that chore.
