Didn't he go to U.S. Grant in the late 60's? A big guy, right? Yeah, Prune he graduated at Grant in 70. Drove a 70 Ford Cobra Jet. He was the manager at Crystal's on 74th at one time. One of his brother's owned Stubbs Sporting Goods on S. Penn..

I remember the Ford. It was a dark green Galaxie 500 XL Cobra Jet! I
thought it was a 1969.

thought it was a 1969. It was for sure green. Pretty sure it was a 70 but, could be wrong I been wrong before.(many times)

I remember the first day he drove it to school. There was a whole lot of
droolin' goin' on!

Do you remember Ferguson's '67 Malibu? I think it was a 396 but it could
have been a 427. There were a lot of stories, or rumors, about it.

I think I was in the parkinglot the first day Chris drove it to school also. We were pretty good friends back then, wish I could hear from him now. Yeah.. Ferguson's Malibu was green also. I heard he used to "swap" engines in that Malibu alot.

Hey, I graduated with SWtubbs' brother (Nick) and knew the older of the three Chuck (passed away).....Don't forget Herschel Burns in all of your Car excitement....He was a '69 graduate and had some pretty neat rides.....Still does....

Don't know if they were kin. I do know that Herschel had a 1970 SS454 Chevelle...LS5?....He won Every show he entered with that car....Fanatic about the car.

I worked there for a couple years. I remember a few, the manager "Blocker", Rick (with the cobra), Debbie, Richard & Lisa and others.

When we expanded to include the game room, that's when things went to crap IMO.
