It takes some digging because they're never organized, but most pawnshops have used DVD's. Normal prices range from $1-$3.

Try Vintage Stock (http://www.vintagestock.com/). Several locations around the metro.

Do the convenience stores like 7-11 sell off used dvd's from their rentals? We typically have the lad grab a red box if we're bringing one in for the eve, so lazy me doesn't even know what most folks carry. I'm fine to watch old NCIS or CSI or L&O reruns, HBO or TNT, so I don't do the movie picks real often.

yes, they do. I've bought quite a few used at 7-11 for anywhere from $2 to $7.

They're usually right up by the main register.

No idea...I always get used dvds from Amazon, half.com, or occasionally ebay. You should easily be able to find a used copy of any title you want from a reputable online seller--just make sure to check the seller's rating and the description of the disc's condition.

have you tried cd warehouse? I noticed the downtown location has everything must go signs up... so you might find some good deals....
