Company went into Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July. About this time last month, a store in Alabama that was allegedly a decent performer was shuttered. that maqde 4 in Alabama to close, while six remain open.

I suppose it's possible for one or more Oklahoma operations to come back at some point, notwithstanding heavy competition for that particular dining segment.

Really? I haven't heard that. Where did you? I guess it is possible, they are a Franchise so it would depend on the Franchise agreement. It was one of their better performing stores.

Place always was packed.. the restaurants around there always seem to be busy.

The food was just ok, I would rather see an Outback Steakhouse there, or maybe something different, since there is already a Chili's, like maybe a PF Changs, or Pearls. I ate at Santa Fe once and swore I would never go back.

Midwest City is still alive and kicking. They were pretty busy there the other night when I was up in Town Center picking up Christmas Decorations at Tar-zay.

Don't know what is going in, but drove by there today and the "For Sale" sign was gone from the property. There had been one out there for several months and it is no longer there.

What does that mean? Don't know.

Sante Fe > Outback

Sante Fe > Outback

Though neither was ever my first choice for a dinner out, I've tagged along with others to an SF and to a couple of different OB's.

Between the two, I'd have to point the lil' arrow the other way.
Fortunately, there are enough choices out that determining which is truly the lesser of the two beefvils doesn't need to occupy a lot of time.

That is true, but it would be nice to have one closer to home. Texas Roadhouse isn't all that far, but still...

Any news on Santa Fe?

Heard rumors that the one in Norman was going to re-open, but now there's a building for lease sign in front of of it.

I believe Logan's Roadhouse has purchased property in Yukon.

I don't reside there but my understanding is early-mid Novemberish opening.

I heard Hideaway is looking into opening at the former Santa Fe property. Yukon hasn't had good pizza since Sophabella's left so I've got my fingers crossed.
