they won't design them until they get 100 applications, they have to have 100 within 180 days(april 1st)

ha. No way I am applying for something before I see the design. There is no telling what this will look like. It could be really cool but then again, I could be stuck with driving around with a picture of Rumble the Bison on my car. I would not be happy.

I'll be rooting for the 100 folks that are sending in their apps. I'll check back on my birthday (St. Patrick's Day) and hope there's a design on the OTC website!

If memoery serves, when the local BSA council went after a tag, the design was known but the campaign was this does not happen without a 100 paid requests. Wasn't a problem getting the first 100+ from that org.

I canna imagine any difficulty in reaching 100, even 500 initial tags given the number of season passes sold each of the first two seasons.

Why does everyone need to see a design before they buy one?!? It's not going to be anything special.. It's going to have the Thunder logo on the left or right side of the plate with 5 numbers/letters after or before the logo. All you have to do is look at other teams/colleges license plates to get an idea. If you REALLY want one or MAYBE want one, I would advise you send in your app. If everyone waits to see a design first, chances are we won't see a design at all.

LOL... Ok in that case it'll have 3 numbers/letters on both sides of the logo. But I'm willing to bet the logo is on the left side of the plate. Either way people, let's at least get the plates in production for those of us that do want one. It's only what...$40 or something like that? If u don't end up liking the design don't put it on your vechile.

I'm keeping my osage shield plate until the day I die.

I hate the new designs. I'll get a Thunder bumper sticker.

I love my car too much to put a tacky bumper sticker on it.

I guess I could get the license plate and then if I don't like it, put it up next to my old piece of crap Osage shield tag on my wall :tiphat:

OTC isnt the most creative state agency in any space or time line.
Have the owners (Thunder) design it.

I sent out my Application today!! Don't forget to do the same if you even want to see these plates.
