If you haven't heard the name yet or have and haven't seen him live this is your chance to see a guitar legend in the making.
Last May he played London's Royal Albert Hall which was captured on film and released as a DVD in October. He was joined on stage by his idol Eric Clapton for a rendition of Further on up the Road. The DVD way mixed and engineered by Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Journey, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden) Check it out on Youtube. YouTube - Joe Bonamassa - Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD - Further on up the Road (Featuring Eric Clapton) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEEfDdJyxPY)
He was recently awarded Classic Rock Magazines Breakthough Artist of the Year. He is becoming a household name in the UK as well as many other countries in Europe. Here is his website. Joe Bonamassa, Blues and Rock Musician, Guitar Player (http://www.jbonamassa.com)
I have seen all the greats and this guy is in the leauge of Clapton, Page, Beck. 32 years old and a 20 year veteran having opened for BB King as a kid. Signed by Sony where his first solo album was recorded with legendary producer Tom Dowd.
