Pete,I know that the three indentions will all have LED lighting, but will all three triangles of the crown have LED's?

Pete
12-21-2011, 02:25 PM
My understanding is there is going to be a ton of LED lighting through the crown, not just the triangles or indentions.

Love the Sig club - been a few years since I was last there, but that is a fun place ! I recommend the Drake Hotel, nearby as well.
The Drake is where we stayed on our honeymoon.

I wonder if I can have my wedding in the rotunda? I have been talking to my lady about it for a while and she finally agreed as long as the reception is at the Colcord or Skirvin. You can fit a ton of folks in there and it'd be awesome to have people on the upper floors looking down.

ed, I'm sure you'll be able to rent it out for after-hours events.

Leadership Square does it with their atrium all the time.

If you can make it that you be the first one to get married, be sure to post the info on here and invite the photographers from here to document Devon's first wedding to post on here.

The story of Devon Canada is very very similiar to the story of Devon Energy. Weird.

For those of us who read your post and the link, we know. LOL and it is cool; there's a Devon Tower in Oklahoma City, a Devon Tower (apartments) in Pittsburgh, and now a Devon Tower in Calgary. There's another Devon Tower in Houston but it's called Devon Energy Tower (same difference); but for the record, I believe our Devon Tower's official name is Devon Energy Center.

It's Devon's Canadian branch, IIRC.

I read that part of the article wrong, I thought it was Devon Canada that was spread out through 3 different buildings in Calgary before moving into the Canterra (Devon) Tower but it was Canterra and they built the tower to fit all the employees under 1 roof. Still ironically similar though. LOL

Merry Christmas to the both of you. =)

I don't think so, if you look real close on the sw corner, you can make out an elevator shaft...it's a bit lighter in color and partially covers the second window left to right.

It looks like it is in their, since the shots of the arenas are not impacted by the contract agreement for scheduling they might have been done before filming the players so could also have been earlier in construction.

Doesn't appear to be. Watching in HD you can see the mobile cranes and the steel girder skeleton of the new entrance. They are completely in the shadows though, which could be a post-production effect. Unfortunate for Chesapeake that the sign on the arena also wasn't lit in the shot. Looks like perhaps the same for Staples, but the American Airlines logo was lit up on the AAC, so doesn't appear that the logos were darkened on purpose.

It would have been filmed at the same time that the KD-only commercial from that same Nike "Spotlight" campaign was. Darnell Mayberry reported on the details of that commercial in late October (which made KD a little grouchy on Twitter), and it broke the first of November. So filming was probably done in August or September. I think there is some info out there regarding exactly WHEN, but I'm too lazy to seek it out.
