I wanted to make sure that everyone here knew about the Throw Your Voice blogging, podcasting and new media conference that is happening this Saturday, Oct 3rd, at the Oklahoma City Coworking Collaborative in Midtown.

The event is intended as a day to learn more about how to express yourself online (not that anyone here really has any trouble with that :)).

Topics will include things like:

ways to make your blog or podcast better
how to start a blog or a podcast if you do not have one
how to create good quality video online, easily and affordably
how to stream video live online for a live audience
and more


There will be also be a discussion to determine the future direction of the Okie Blogger awards, which now has new leadership (with the blessing of okiedoke, who created it and recently retired from organizing it).

The event will start at 9am and go til late afternoon.

Lunch is going to be provided by Iguana Mexican Grille and Coffee will be provided by Cafe Evoke. There will also be snacks and beverages available throughout the day.
