The Federal Stimulus Paving Project locations and the project scope involve the mill/inlay of asphalt streets and ADA ramp installations as follow:

· Eufaula Street, from Porter Avenue to University Boulevard

· Flood Avenue, from Acres Street to Hayes Street

· Jenkins Avenue, from Boyd Street to Linn Street

· Lindsey Avenue, from 24th Avenue SW to 300' east of Berry Road

· Porter Avenue, from Robinson Street to Alameda Avenue

· University Boulevard, from Main Street to Boyd Street

construction and modification to sidewalk ramp crossings and the deep patch repair work prior to the milling and repaving process on Eufaula Street. The deep patch repair work on Eufaula Street will require it to be closed between Porter Avenue and Crawford Avenue with the street being reopened by Friday, September 18, 2009.

Wow. That's what we're spending money on? What a waste. Several of those streets simply don't need that work.
