Just received this e-mail from Arctic Edge, sounds like a great cause:


Press Release 8-13-2009

The Tulsa Area Police Hockey Team in conjunction with the Oklahoma City Area Police and Fire Hockey Team will play two benefit hockey games, one in Oklahoma City and one in Tulsa. Proceeds from both games will benefit the "Seminole County Fallen Heros Memorial Fund." The fund is administered by the Seminole County Sheriff''s Office through Seminole State Bank to benefit the families of Deputies Robbie Whitebird and Marvin Williams, who were killed in the line of duty.

Game One will be at 7:00 p.m. in Oklahoma City on August 28th at:
Arctic Edge Ice Arena
14623 N. Kelly Ave.
Oklahoma City, OK

Game Two will be at 7:00 p.m. in Tulsa on September 12 at:
Oiler''s Ice Center
6413 S. Mingo Rd.
Tulsa, OK
Admission to the games is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Door prizes will be given at the game with an after party with the hockey players at the rink.

The Ice Rink was donated and the officials volunteered the time to Ref.

If this is the Guns and Hoses bunch, that could be a very long evening.

Great cause, though.
