Not many political legends left in this country. Besides the Bush family, can't think of any other that has a similar stature.

I am certain this will end in name calling, love him or hate him Senator Kennedy served Mass. and the USA. His passing is the end of an era and family dynasty.

RIP.

There have been a number of young ones follow in the family business so the Kennedy name or lineage may continue to pop up. I do believe it is the end of an era.

Not at the national level, certainly. I hope he passed peacefully.

Sad news to wake up to. The kennedy family has been through a lot in my lifetime and before. May he Rest in Peace.

They probably have one of the most tragic family histories of our era. At least he lived a long, presumably happy, life. RIP
