I had almost forgotten all about the Bowery. Saw many good bands there, Flaming Lips and the Call were very good. Probably the best known of back then was Berlin. The 1970's, '73 on was a lousy time for music. That changed in the 1980's, some new sounds and creative music was born again.

I remember the Bowery, There was also a clothing store in the same building that sold "New Wave" clothing. Great memories and great music there.
