business establishments youre addicted to.

For some, the word addiction may implicate a rather strong statement, so you can simply refer to it as establishments you visit quite frequently.

this can be a restaurant, a department store, hardware store, sports store, electronics store, etc, etc, etc.

my list in no order would be:

Best Buy
Walmart
Half Price Books
Pei Wei
7-11
Braums

I'm not really addicted to any retail store, mostly restaurants, but i go in phases. When Falcones first opened I was there 3 times a week. Then last winter I was eating Pho Hoa all the time and now I visit the taco joint Los Comales very, very frequently.

no. mwc isnt a dirty town. but lets make sure others dont discover hidden gems in mwc such as chequers, pelicans, jersey mikes, ..to name a few.

but to further answer your question. commericial retail tends to follow suit with where the affluent and upper middle class reside. companies spend big bucks researching demographics before deciding where to break ground on construction at. mwc's economy took a huge nosedive when general motors closed, despite revitalization efforts along 29th street.

so why did they choose mwc over somewhere else to place a cheddars if not for a better economic up climb? I think that thought is flawed in some respects.

Take a gun with you when you visit Dot Wo's Mug.... I used to live down the street from there.

Seriously.

My picks are:
Pho and vermicelli bowls from Golden Palace
Braums (for milk)
Souper Salad
KhaZanna (sp?)
Gopuram
Olive Branch
Lido's

And Walmart, which is like crack. You keep going back to it, even tho you know you'll hate yourself for it afterward. LOL

Iron Starr---get it to go all the time

Los Comales---the most satisfying meal in the city

The Sip---not sure I am "addicted" to it, but me and my alcohol loving friends seem to be there all the time.

wendys had the best 99 cent menu in the 1990's, then items starting climbing up in price and jumped off that menu onto other menus. now their value menu is hardly the same as it was before.

LOVE tacoville.

Isn't that place just the best? So simple, yet so delicious. When my dad first started with Halliburton 30 years ago he and the guys would eat there all the time, so he got to know the owner...when he's in town the owner still recognizes him.

MSDarkstar, did you try it out? Or have you been before?

nik4411 - I wasn't able to get down there for lunch Weds but I've been there many many times. It's one of my favorite places. Was talking with a friend of mine not too long ago & we joked that we think the reason the food is so good is because they haven't changed their grease out since the day they opened....it's finally good & seasoned! lol

pei wei is rather addictive. they need to build more of them. nothing like eating authentic chinese food and having a chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

yeah, im being facetious.

at least i hope you recognize that i am. i wouldnt want you to really believe Confucius had handwritten my fortune in my cookie in the Pei Wei kitchen just moments before i got it.

perhaps he held the hand of the one what did. But, perhaps not. If I were an ancient spirit, I'd sure hope my eternity wasn't spent hanging out in a fast food kitchen.
