My wife and I are coming to Tulsa on Saturday to see "Wicked" at the PAC at 8pm and need a recommendation for dinner. We are wanting to stay in a 5-7 mile radius, but don't want to actually go downtown because the majority of the places will be packed on a Saturday night with a show getting ready to start. I brought up Flemings and Polo Grill at Utica Square. Thoughts on others?

The Chalkboard in the Ambassador Hotel. It's on the southern end of downtown. I don't know if they will be packed, but they do take reservations.

Wife and I used to love The Green Onion when we lived in Tulsa...Have a killer twice baked potato and their stuffed mushrooms were excellent

Good place to stay (I know it is too late, but here it is anyway) - Sleep Inn on 33rd off S. Memorial. Quiet, clean, inexpensive.

Great places to eat:

Green Onion, Jamil's, Spudder.
