Does anyone know what that HUGE mound is sound of OK River at the I-35 and I-40 junction? It looks permanent. Is it part of of the New I-40? What part? It is just so strange.

It is the American Indian Cultural Center and Museum. There are several posts on this site already about it.

Check the second one to see what kind of comments they made to the last person that asked it. Just letting you know what you are in for.

Well, thanks for the head's up about a Native American Cultural Center. I read through those postings, and was pretty surprised to read so many snippy comments. All I can say is that YES a sign providing information to passersby would be helpful for everyone. There are many construction projects going on around town, and signage provides information.

lisa3moon, welcome to OKC Talk and don't let the rude condescending folks get you down. This is actually a pretty good community forum.

That mound, by the way, has a lot of people talking and asking questions.
