Just so you know, Metro is knocking on the door of his 10,000th post at OKC Talk (9,977 posts as of this writing). It likely won't be the Gettysburg Address, but I'd like to challenge Metro to share some pearls of wisdom that come from this level of participation.

Haha, Pearls of Wisdom:

I have a dream that one day, all Oklahomans will be well educated about their hometown and state, white people, black people, Protestants and Catholics, will all join together and use Google and OKCTalk searches before posting. We will all join hands and take an ACTIVE role in beautifying our city and improving the quality of life, and not just sit online and talk about what we'd do if....

TIPS:

1.) Please do a search before posting what is likely a duplicate topic
2.) Do a Google search if you're trying to link to another website but are too lazy to find it, it takes all of 1/10th a second.
3.) Have fun and take pride in our City
4.) Take an active part in the renaissance of our city before criticizing it

I'm glad I was here for the 10,000th... but shouldn't this thread be moved to OKC Underground? ;)

Congrats!

I missed the post. Did it have a link to an already existing thread?
