Has anyone had experience with dental surgery for their dog in OKC? My basset hound's large upper molar in the back is partially missing and we need to either replace it or pull it.

We went to hefner road animal hospital, but after the surgery, we found the tooth they rebuilt (it did not even last a week and we followed the instructions), to not be there anymore. So, we are asking for our money back there.

So can anyone recommend a vet for oral surgery in OKC area or have any advice on just getting the tooth pulled?

It is just painful because she has a root exposed and we want to get it fixed right away...

Thanks,
Jessica

Why not just have it pulled? As long as she has her other teeth, she's not going to miss that one all that much.

You may want to have her teeth cleaned while you're at it...sounds like she could have some decay going on if an upper molar is affected.

Go to your regular vet and have them do a dental and remove that tooth. Or, a place that's been discussed on here before is Neel Vet. they are open on Sundays and don't charge "emergency fee" until after 10pm. They usually don't get super busy until the afternoon on Sundays, so see if you can get her in this morning.

Yeah, go to Neel Vet on McArthur.
