Amy McRee told me it is Alex Cameron's last day today, but wouldn't say more. Anyone know the details? I'm pretty sure his wife is slated to be the Jr League president for 09-10, so I don't expect them to be leaving town.

He's staying with KWTV but he's not going to anchor the 4 o'clock news anymore.

KWTV's parent company, Griffin, has been doing a ton of restructuring lately, created about 24 new positions. I wonder if he's going to an internal position as a News Editor or something.

I hope he stays around! He is definitely one of OKC's best journalists.

I don't know much more than what others have offered, but can say that his on-air days - at least for now - are no longer. He's taking another position within KWTV/Griffin family, still in news. Not sure what exactly he'll be doing.

I haven't talked to Alex, but did just talk to a mutual friend: Alex is being promoted and will be overseeing a special projects team that will involve KWTV in OKC and KOTV in Tulsa. It's a promotion and if I understand it correctly, they'll be letting one of the state's best tv news guys do what he does best - news.

Probably thick cotton T's and heavy sweats, simply because she knows there are guys out there with cell cams, a u tube account, and too much free time.
