So, my mother has decided to "surprise" us and come into town from up north this weekend. (She told us this morning, she's coming in on Saturday. Eeek!) So now my husband and I, who were just going to hang around the house with our kids on Mother's Day, want to take my Mom out for a nice mother's day brunch.

Can anyone recommend any place that is good but not too horribly expensive?

Thanks!! :)

Cheever's, if they aren't already completely booked. Sage would be a nice but reasonable place to go to too.

Bellini's at the Waterford

Flips on N. Western always has a nice Sunday brunch and $1 mimosas!

Lottinvilles in Edmond used to have a nice weekend brunch, but I haven't been in ages -- or to the new location

Cheever's has a few spot left after 2:00 or you wait unitl 5:00 and head down to Red PrimeSteak for the updated $35.00 menu.

I tried to get in at cheever's earlier than that earlier this week and it was a no-go. Glad to hear the brunch is doing so well there!

Also, I wouldn't say it's the best brunch food in town, butit's one of the best brunch atmospheres, is Pearl's. I really enjoy going there.

Cafe do Brasil or Pearls are my two suggestions. Both are somewhat unique and both are very reasonably priced.

Ingrids on NW 30th and Youngs has a brunch. I don't think they serve alcohol.

I believe they have beer and wine.
