Anyone know what is being built there? I believe that lot is owned by Chesepeake, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

This was initially discussed in the big CHK thread, and you'll see an aerial and some strong hints by Tuck (on which he may now be at liberty to elaborate upon) here:

BTW, CHK also owns the property directly east of the Conoco on the corner; all their contiguous properties are highlighted below:

I'd love to know what that is. My old house in on that aerial. I used to walk down to Abrahams for a burger. That was a great location.

I have heard a CNG Station will be there...very cool structure and addition to the area.

What else besides a CNG station? They could build five of them on that land.

CNG station will be on the SE corner of 49th and Western. I'm not sure about the other lots.

I'm hoping we see some more info on this Whole Foods rumor.

Way too small for a Whole Foods.

I suspect there will be some sort of retail strip center that will wrap around the corner.

I agree that lot is too small for Whole Foods, but I do hear there are real legs to the WF rumor. My guess is that if it does come to fruition, maybe they are using that stretch of land on N. Grand, just south of NW 63rd all the way to Classen Court.
